How do I connect to UAHPC/CHPC?
From a terminal, use ssh to go to uahpc.ua.edu / chpc.ua.edu. The UAHPC is in our internal network, you must connect to the VPN first if you are connecting from off-campus. For transferring files to and from the cluster, you may also connect to the data transfer node: uards-hpc01.oit.ua.edu
OIT is currently preparing to make Open OnDemand available to the campus research community.
Do I need VPN access?
DUO is required to use the campus VPN. Here are instructions on how to set up DUO.
If you have credentials to log into the HPC clusters, you already have VPN access by default. Information about the campus VPN can be found here.
